This therapy is a course of 3 x 90 minutes sessions. It is suitable for people with more weight to lose and with a BMI over 30. If you are not sure how to calculate your BMI please use the calculator below and contact me at busybeejersey@gmail.com to discuss your suitability.
Within the sessions we carry out various hypnosis sessions to re-programme the subconscious part of the brain to look at food differently, deter it from wanting to snack, automatically decrease portion sizes and generally improve your determination to get to your target weight and be healthy. We will also imagine that your stomach is shrinking with the assistance of a golf ball as a guide. You will then mentally prepare for the virtual gastric band operation and finally undergo the virtual operation (Don't worry, it isn't graphic!). This proven technique has a 95% success rate as compared to the actual operation which is only 80%. The other advantages are that there are none of the associated risks of having an actual operation, it doesn't cost £10,000 and it's pain free with no side effects!
